Midwest Roots

A collaborative project with Jenny Green of Shu Shu Design, who did all the design for this website. Together we created something special for Kyle Schott of Midwest Roots. A blog at heart, but much more than just your standard blog.

I used WordPress to create and code a custom theme framework for Kyle. The blog itself consists of a unique grid layout which is much more visible and engaging. Special attention was paid to every screen to allow Kyle to add content and customize as easy as possible. We also baked in custom, reusable widgets that Kyle could place in specific sidebar regions for every page.
